Finally...an answer!!!

I saw Dr. Rosenthal at UAB today and he was great...good sense of humor, knowledgable, and yes, could even speak good English!!! Anyway, we have decided to do the radiation and that should be done in the next couple of weeks. It it works as it should, it will only take one time. After that, I will have to take a pill for the rest of my life to keep everything regulated. They told me that I would have to stay away from everyone for a day or two after the radiation...no hugging, sleeping the same bed as anyone, eat off plastic utensils, flush the toilet twice after each use, etc. Seriously??? I don't know if I can keep up with all of this. I am still nervous about it all, but also glad to have a game plan. I will keep you all posted.
